A very short history
Education
- PhD – recently completed a PhD in Ecology/Conservation Technology, finding novel ways to improve the quality of data gathered from citizen science projects to improve biodiversity conservation outcomes.
- Masters Degree – 1st Class Honours in Computer Science with 2nd year research thesis entitled “Guided Paths in Hypermedia”.
- Bachelors Degree, major in Computer Science.
Travel
Have lived and worked in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, UK, Spain, Germany doing software development and consulting in a variety of industries.
Languages
Speak English and German reasonably fluently, French comes back pretty quickly, some Japanese and a little bit of a few other languages.
Sport
Basketball was my main interest when I was younger. Being the youngest of 6 kids I tagged along to practices and games from an early age. Luckily we had a fantastic coach for 2 years who greatly influenced us.
